Who we are
References to "we" and "us" are to Technophobia Communications Limited trading as GlassWorkTopSavers, company number 3295015, registered office Glass Work Top Savers, Legend Cookshops, 27 High Street, Hythe, Kent, CT21 5AD

What information we collect and how:
1. The information we collect via this website may include: Any personal details you type in and submit, such as name, address, email address, etc.
2. Your preferences and use of email updates, recorded by emails we send you (if you select to receive email updates on products and offers).
3. Our website also uses cookies.

What we do with your information:
Any personal information we collect from this website will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws. The details we collect will be used:-
(1) to process your order, to maintain guarantee records and to provide after-sales service.
(2) to carry out security checks (this may involve passing your details to Experian Limited, or another credit reference agency, who will check details we give them against public and private databases and may keep a record of that check to use in future security checks - this helps to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions); and
(3) to comply with legal requirements.
We would also like to email or post you details of various promotions, goods and services that we can offer you through our company. (You may un-subscribe at a later date, if you wish.)
We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

We are part of the Legend Group of companies and we may need to pass the information we collect to other companies within our group for administrative purposes. We may use third parties to carry out certain activities, such as processing and sorting data, monitoring how customers use our site and issuing our e-mails for us. Rest assured that third parties will not be allowed to use your personal information for their own purposes.
Your rights
(1) You can ask us to update or remove your personal information by emailing privacy@legendcookshop.co.uk or by writing to us at our customer services address in (2) below. However, please note that we may need to keep some personal data in order to process orders or to comply with customer service or after sale obligations.
(2) You also have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you. To do this, simply write to us at the following address, enclosing a cheque for £2.50 payable to Technophobia Communications Limited to cover our administration costs:-

These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above). Please note that different terms (including prices, delivery charges, delivery times and returns policies) may apply to purchases made in one of our stores.

Our Contract
After submitting an order to us we will give you an Order Reference Number and order total. We will also send your order details to you in an e-mail.
Please note that these e-mails are acknowledgments, not acceptance of your order.
We may decline all or part of your order for any reason. Acceptance of your order will happen when we take payment.
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest that you visit one of our stores. Please note that products, prices and offers in our stores may differ from those featured on this site.

Prices and Payment
All prices and charges for products on this site are shown in UK pounds sterling. They include any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges (for details see 'Delivery' below).
The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order, plus the applicable delivery charge. All of these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order. Special offer prices on products are subject to availability. If something becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative or suggest that you visit one of our stores.
We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, from time to time the manufacturer may alter the specifications of a product. Whilst we endeavour to maintain the latest manufacturer's information we reserve the right to supply the altered product, providing it maintains the same or higher quality.
We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Delta, and Switch. Payment is taken when we process your order.

Age Requirements
If you order a product with a minimum age requirement, by ordering you confirm that you are of the required age.

Delivery (United Kingdom)
Delivery may be to any address. However if this differs from the address at which your payment card is registered, you must enter the billing address where the card is held and your preferred delivery address in the delivery section of the order form. Some deliveries may need to be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letter box). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

Delivery Charges
We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. You only pay one delivery charge, irrespective of the number of products ordered.

Country Delivery Charge
UK Mainland £4.68
Overseas Orders (including the Channel Islands) Determined by parcel weight. You will be advised of the revised charge prior to payment being taken and given the opportunity to continue with your order or cancel.

When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the UK Mainland delivery charge will be added automatically. However if your order is for despatch outside the UK Mainland, we will correct the invoice and send you an amended e-mail, clearly explaining the delivery charge for your location.

How we Deliver (United Kingdom)
Most products are delivered either by First Class post or Standard Parcels by the Royal Mail, if the weight of your order is above 2 kg it will be delivered by either UKMail or Business Post (couriers). Some products may be delivered by our own delivery service or by the manufacturer. Different products in the same order may be delivered separately.

Alternative delivery arrangements, to suit your requirements, can be made, for which additional charges may be added, wth your agreement. These would need to be arranged by telephoning us on 01303 266300.

Delivery Times (United Kingdom)
Delivery times vary, but please allow up to 28 days. However must orders arrive much sooner and we do our best to dispatch your order within 48 hours of receiving and accepting your order.

Delivery (Overseas)
Orders which weigh under 2Kg are sent using Airmail. Orders above this weight will be sent using International Standard Parcels.

IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

Cancellations and Returns
If you are a personal customer (consumer) you can cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 14 days after delivery (We extend the legal requirement of 7 days by a further 7 days)
Your order is considered cancelled at the time we issue you with a cancellation number.

In order to cancel you may contact us by the following means:

For orders cancelled after dispatch from us, upon your receipt of a cancellation number, you may return products by post (please enclose a copy of your receipt) to RA Dept, Legend Cookshops. 27 High Street, Hythe, Kent, CT21 5AD.
Your product must be complete and in 'as new' condition'.
It should be returned with the original box, packing and any accessories. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.
Upon our receipt of your returned order, you will receive a refund, and the cancellation is free of charge provided you return the product to a store, or to our RA Dept address (above).

We cannot cancel your purchase when:
a.. you return your product to a store without proof of purchase;
b.. the packaging is damaged or has been discarded; or
c.. the goods were a special order to your specification.

Return of Faulty Goods
The following are guidelines. Wherever possible we will respond to your individual circumstances. If there is a fault with your product within 12 months of delivery (or other defect with your order), we will normally offer a repair or exchange.
This promise does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. For consumable items (e.g. non-rechargeable batteries etc) the guarantee period is three months from delivery.

We, our Group companies and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. You may not create any link to this website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.

These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
